Aging in Stillness explores aging through the lens of wabi-sabi.

Entering her 40s, Sanae experienced physical and emotional shifts, moving from uncertainty toward quiet confidence. Inspired by pottery and natural materials, the works use restrained tones, subtle layers, and intentional irregularities to evoke the texture of time.

Like an antique object whose wear becomes its beauty, the collection reflects on aging as another way of becoming beautiful.

40代に入り、身体や心の変化に戸惑いながらも、やがて静かな自信へと移りゆく過程が作品に映し出されています。陶器や自然素材に着想を得た、抑えた色調とさりげない層やゆらぎが、時間の質感を表しています。
